With only 3 weeks to go until the American Express Queenstown Winter Festival hits town it's time to start thinking about getting into winter party mode and what better way to get into the Festival spirit than to be a part of the action.

Taking place on Sunday June 29 as part of the 'SkiDealsNZ.com Day on the Bay' this crazier than crazy event is the perfect opportunity to herald in Winter as you hurl yourself and your contraption into the waters of Lake Wakatipu in an attempt to go the furthest the highest or to just plain disintegrate.

Winners will earn the unofficial title of 'craziest Queenstowner', but judges on the day will be handing out cash and travel packages for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
