Day pass purchasers for The Remarkables offered free transport in September

Day pass purchasers for The Remarkables can enjoy free transport to the ski area for the month of September.

Customers will be transported on The Remarkables Express, the ski area’s new shuttle service, from the Station building in downtown Queenstown direct to the slopes.

Ski Area Manager Ross Lawrence said the new initiative was designed to help guests get up to the superb snow conditions at The Remarkables.

“We’ve got great snow everywhere at the Remarks and we’re delighted to be able to offer a service to help our customers enjoy it.”

"Our new 4x4 buses will transport skiers and riders to our doorstep quickly and comfortably ready for a great day in the snow,” he added.

The free transport is only available when a day lift ticket is purchased at the Queenstown Snow Centre, Duke Street, and is valid for the same day as the lift ticket. There are a limited number of spaces available each day and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Pick up will be at the Snow Centre only.

Day lift passes are $87 for an adult, $47 for a youth, and $63 for a student.

The buses depart the Station Building daily at 8.15, 8.45, 9.15 and stop at the bottom of The Remarkables access road at 8.35, 9.05 and 9.35 en route to the slopes. They return to Queenstown at 2.30, 3.30 and 4.30.
