Hi all, and welcome to Queentown's only online forum. This thread is here to allow everyone to get to know each other, so I'll go first.

I'm Nathan and I work for Queenstown.com. I'm originally from Invercargill and first lived in Queenstown from 1999 to 2002. I then went to Australia for 3 years, and now I'm back.

Favourite things about Queenstown:

- being able to meet people from all over the globe
- the frisbee golf course in Queenstown Gardens
- the still autumn days (perfect for frisbee)
- The Remarkables and the way the sun's shadow creeps up the front face in the evening
- any many more...

I'm spike and I'm your boss. I'm originally from Queenstown and have been travelling the world looking for people to outgeek me. It hasn't happened yet. But I'm thinking your forum geek'ness might just be a little more l33t than mine.

I was born in 1977 and I'm a Libra. I like star gazing and reading gossip magazines. You'll notice that 50% of what I say is Bull and the other 50% is probably bull. You'll also notice my size 10 shoe hitting your bum if you don't do some real work.

I like frisbee golf too, that's why I give you an hour every lunch time to fly your disc.

anyways, What a good idea. So good in fact that I'll give a Bottle of Jack Daniels (must be over 18) to the funniest and most delightful post. This will be received for my birthday in September.

well it looks like you'll have a challenge on your hands, seeing that you're about the same height. you can borrow one of my hobbit clubs if you want

Please don't mistake Nathan for a hobbit whist hunting. Its not that i don't want him hurt, but i don't want to have to take over his work load or go through the process of once again showing someone how to do it, although it can't be that difficult considering he seems to spend most of his time posting on forums like this one.

Another good thing about JD's is that you can get them for $3 a pop on Thursday nights at Dux De Lux.. which would also explain the increasing hangover rate on Fridays.

Thanks so much for letting me borrow your hobbit club - it'll save me the trouble from bringing mine from home. While there's some concern that I might mistake you for a hobbit and club you by accident, don't worry, my aim is pretty good.

I'm assuming from seeing "Admin" in everyone's title that you all work for this website? Also, what's Karma (I know what karma is in the general sense, but I'm wondering what its use is on the forum - this is my 1st time using one)?

Gotta get back to work now, but more questions to follow...

Your good aim wont help you as i have plenty of experience from being hunted by people like you who mistake me for a hobbit, and my beard doesn't help my case.
