in the spectacular Queenstown Gardens is a purposely built course for a
sport that is rapidly gaining in popularity - Frisbee golf. The course
is free to use and is truly a scenic experience, providing alternating
views of The Remarkables, Walter and Cecil Peak, Ben Lomond, Queenstown
and Lake Wakatipu. Superbly laid out with 18 holes, it is one of the
best ways to explore all corners of the gardens.
The course layout is now on its 4th design after changes were made to
protect the lilies in the pond. Gone are the days of wading into the
middle to collect my wayward Frisbee or damaging the lilies while
fishing...
