More than $12,000 was raised for the endangered Northern Royal Albatross during Queenstown adventure company Shotover Canyon Swing's 'I give a sh*t' campaign.

The MacDougall's and Captain's Express chairlifts are running from today, with the Whitestar Express chairlift to open on Saturday or Sunday after some more trail preparation has been completed. All other lifts, terrain parks, cafes, kids centres and facilities are open.
