For a limited time only, Joanna Braithwaite will be exhibiting her work at Milford Galleries in Queenstown.

Her finely painted works are a humorous mix between the reality and surreality. Her studies of antartic animals such as seals, walruss, albatross and polar bears are a curious blend between the mundane and the absurd; it is easy to see the human shape within the poses of the animals.

Inspired by historical painters, ranging from 17th-century Dutch masters to French romanticism, Joanna's paintings unique and enjoyable to view.
