Let Your Tastebuds Travel The World
We know The World Bar for their quirky decor, friendly staff and delicious teapot cocktails but their new menu is one that you are going to want to try as soon as possible. Do not worry, your old classic favourites are still around but cuisines including Japanese and Mexican have been added in a very innovative and tasty way.
A starter in particular that should jump out at you instantly is the Vegan Kimchi Fries. Think Kimchi loaded on top of the thickest cut chips with lashings of vegan sriracha dressing. A crazy idea turned into an incredible dish that most can enjoy. It has the perfect balance of spice and sweetness. The serving size is very generous.
Find the Mexican influence in the mains, especially with the Chicken Tostadas. Seared chicken breast, chopped lettuce, red and green cabbage, salsa and sour cream dressing on top of two crispy corn tortillas creates a light and refreshing meal. The tortillas are thick and make a great base for all the toppings without falling apart or going soggy. There is also a vegan version of this.
Finally, The Classic burger has to be mentioned. All burgers are made with Hereford chuck, house-ground beef. The flavour is so homely. There isn’t much to The Classic burger but it will leave you wanting to come back again and again.
The World Bar’s new menu has got fantastic options for many different dietary requirements. Not only are you met with salivating food, you will also get a relaxed vibe and some of the best service in town.
