On the outskirts of Queenstown, Bob's Cove nestles peacefully amongst red beech and manuka forestry. The track, which is forged upon lime kiln history, offers encapsulating views down to Glenorchy and back towards the Remarkables.
Roughly 2 hours one-way, the track meanders through native bush and siddles the waterfront. Towards the end of the track you find a wooden jetty, which hangs over the stunningly blue lake water.
Bob's Cove is a must for nature enthusiasts, as Kowhai, Fuchsia and Rata trees feed local bell-birds and Tui's.
