Tandem Skydive Queenstown

There are plenty of ways to see Queenstown from above, but none quite like stepping out of a plane at 15,000 feet with NZONE Skydive — the operators who have been throwing people out of aircraft over the Wakatipu Basin longer than anyone else in town. From the moment you exit the plane, you're in freefall at 200km/h, with the full sweep of the Southern Alps laid out beneath you: The Remarkables running their jagged ridge south of town, Coronet Peak rising above Arthurs Point, and Lake Wakatipu snaking its way through the ranges in that unmistakable Z-shape. It's a lot to take in during 60 seconds of freefall, but somehow your brain manages it.
