Baby Box Queenstown Lakes gives away free bags of baby essentials, practical items, and local handmade gifts to families having their first baby. Eligible families live in Queenstown, Arrowtown, Wānaka, Glenorchy, Kingston, Hāwea, Luggate, or Makarora, and can register before or within three months of their baby's due date. The charity is run entirely by volunteers and relies on community donations and support.
