Salon You

Salon You sits out at Jack's Point on Maori Jack Road, a location that already sets it apart from the town-centre salons competing for foot traffic on the Queenstown Mall. Jack's Point is a residential community with views across to The Remarkables and down toward Lake Wakatipu, and getting a haircut here means you're operating at a different pace to the tourist hustle — which is exactly the point for many clients who make the drive specifically for that reason.

With a perfect five-star rating across 21 reviews, the salon has built a loyal following among locals and residents of the surrounding Jack's Point and Kelvin Heights area who want consistent, quality hair care without the downtown premium or the rush. The character here is straightforward and professional: a salon that does its job well and keeps people coming back. That kind of repeat trust is harder to earn in a community of residents than it is from transient visitors, and Salon You has clearly managed it.

Whether you're after a cut, colour, or a full treatment, the salon covers the core range of hair care services. The Jack's Point address makes it a natural choice for anyone living on the southern side of the lake, including those commuting from Frankton who want to avoid backtracking into the CBD. If you're staying in one of the Jack's Point lodges or holiday homes, this is genuinely convenient — quality hair care on your doorstep rather than a detour into town. Book ahead to secure your slot.
