Te Kākano Aotearoa Trust sources seeds locally, raises seedlings at their nursery, and leads community planting sessions in spring, autumn and winter. They welcome volunteers of all ages and skills for nursery work (Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and afternoons year-round), planting days, maintenance sessions, and workshops like their Interwoven harakeke weaving project. All sessions are free to join.
