Part of the national Women's Institutes network, the Wanaka group brings together women for social connection and skill-sharing. They organise travel and walking groups, offer training in homemaking and various crafts, and support community causes. Members participate in drama, choral singing, floral art, and writing, with opportunities to develop leadership skills.
